How Abbas, a Tamil actor, Battled Suicidal Thoughts and Facing Bankruptcy

<p>With his youthful charm and attractive features, Tamil actor Abbas once captured the hearts of hundreds of women. He began his career as a leading man but quickly began to take second lead and eventually supporting parts. The former actor has been absent from the profession and the public eye for nearly ten years and from movies as well. The actor, who avoids doing interviews, recently opened up on a number of subjects, including his struggles with suicidal thoughts as a youngster and the factors that led him to briefly leave the film industry. He recently discussed it with Galatta Plus.</p>
<p>Abbas began by discussing his struggle with suicidal thoughts. After failing his Class 10 board examinations and being left by his girlfriend as a result, he said that he struggled with suicidal thoughts and contemplating suicide. But common reason won out, and he decided against doing anything of the like. He said that during the pandemic-induced lockdown, he spoke with people having suicidal thoughts through conversations and inspired them with his knowledge of the issue.<img decoding=”async” class=”alignnone wp-image-87275″ src=”” alt=”” width=”1233″ height=”740″ srcset=” 290w,×90.jpg 150w” sizes=”(max-width: 1233px) 100vw, 1233px” /></p>
<p>Abbas explained his decision to quit the movie industry by saying that despite initial success, several of his projects failed, leaving him without money and unable to cover necessities like rent and cigarettes. He eventually stopped working on movies because he was “not enjoying his work.”</p>
<p>He moved to New Zealand with his family and did odd occupations like taxi driving and bike support oneself.</p>
<p>Additionally, he claimed to have heard some absurd rumors about himself. He said that after hearing he was unwell, people started calling and asking how he was doing. Some even continued to believe that he had died dead or been hospitalized in a mental hospital. Abbas has said that he is unsure of what the future may hold for him in terms of making a return in movies.</p>
